How will Cloud Portal Services Manager be licensed?

The licensing model is similar to the current licensing, there will be some minor changes as a result of a direct licensing model being introduced.

Will the product name change?

Yes, the product name will change in due course – the next release of the software, v12 will have a new name.

Which versions of CPSM will be supported?

Support is offered to any partner on version 11.x who transitions to Automate101. If you use an earlier version than this, then please get in touch. We will only be in a position to release fixes to v11.5 and future upgrades will likely be dependent on deployments operating on v11.5.

Who is behind Automate101?

Automate101 has been founded by Colin Williams, the previous GM of EMS-Cortex. Our team is made up of the original EMS-Cortex and Citrix employees who have worked with the Cortex/CPSM product for many years. For more information, read the About Us section.

When will I get to see a new agreement?

We will contact all partners within one week of the public announcement. However, our contact information may be outdated so feel free to use the contact form as soon as possible to ensure the continuation of CPSM services.

Will the pricing change?

There should be limited changes to pricing.

Can I continue to buy through my local distributor?

We aim to sell directly in all markets except for South Africa. If this is going to be a genuine issue for you, please contact us.

What is planned on the roadmap?

We are aware that CPSM hasn’t had significant software updates for some time – our plan is to stabilize support and address any urgent issues. After this, focus will move to providing additional functionality and improved user experience. This will include the automation of Azure AD and Office 365 based services. A full roadmap is being developed, based on a combination of customer requirements and our vision for the future.
